Chip Foose and the team at Foose Design have a long history of impressive custom builds and automotive products, and this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is no exception. Now, we’re getting an in-depth look at the build process that went into the Camaro’s creation with the following 13-minute, 39-second video.
The video covers the various stages of the Chevrolet Camaro restomod build, starting with fabrication work, followed by interior work and the reconstruction process. After that, we get to see it revealed at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, and we get a full walkaround on the completed vehicle.
The video is shot in short clips, without any sort of voiceover narration. This gives the audience a chance to draw their own conclusions on the build as they watch it all come together, piece by piece. Some rock music provides the soundtrack.
Standout specs on this ’69 Chevrolet Camaro restomod include an LT4 crate engine, which, as a reminder, is the same supercharged 6.2L small block V8 found in high-performance applications like the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and Cadillac CTS-V. The engine breathes through a MagnaFlow Exhaust system, while the bones of the machine are provided by a Roadmaster Shop ’67 – ’69 Camaro SPEC Chassis. The lovely custom exterior is covered in Deep Impact Blue paint.
In the corners, this Chevrolet Camaro rides on customer MHT Foose Star Thruster wheels, while a Baer brake system hauls it down. The cabin spec includes custom Cobra bucket seats and an Arc Audio sound system.
Seeing all those shiny new parts find a home on this build is pretty satisfying to watch, while the final reveal is a beautiful thing to behold. Foose always brings the heat with these custom builds, and his talent is obvious when the sheet is finally pulled at SEMA.

Chip Foose and his team consistently put out high-quality work! I've not seen a n y t h i n g "bad" leave that shop (well... at least on TV).
😍😍
Yeah Chip Foose seems like a great guy. And his shows don't over dramatize everything like others. *cough* gas monkey.
I love CF work from his tv show and I think is was production was finally stopped. The problem I was having that all of the rebuilds he designed, though beautiful, they alway looked too similar. You have to give his team of mechanics high marks, always beautiful results.
I agree with George S,certain artist have a constant theme/style that's there base, which if u look closely ,not knowing before hand who's handy work it is, you can identify there work. I always felt that way about Arlen Ness. Could tell his bikes from 50' away! I never liked his style but has my utmost respect as designer/builder.
