As Cadillac readies to launch an all-new, next-generation Escalade for the 2021 model year, it’s also discounting select 2019 Escalade models by as much as $8,000 during the month of January. And in an interesting twist, a 2020 Cadillac Escalade discount lowers the price of the current model year by $9,000. Typically we see the previous model year get the larger incentive, but that’s not the case this time around.
It’s worth pointing out that Cadillac Escalade discount offers were very generous throughout most of 2019, including a $12,000 discount offered last January, a $7,500 offer in April, an $8,000 discount in July, and another $8,000 discount in December. In fact, the $8,000 Cadillac Escalade discount was available throughout the entire fourth quarter of 2019.
Nationwide Cadillac Escalade discount offers for the month of January 2020 apply to both the regular-length Escalade and extended-length Escalade ESV models, and are as follows:
Buyers should note the above Cadillac Escalade discount offers are available through February 3rd, 2020. Shoppers should also note that they can save $3,000 by opting for a 2020 Escalade Platinum instead of a 2019 Escalade. This is because the automaker has decreased the MSRP for the range-topping Platinum model by $2,000 and is offering an extra $1,000 off 2020 models. This occurrence applies to both Escalade and Escalade ESV models.
Aside from the Platinum model, pricing for the Escalade and Escalade ESV have remain unchanged for the 2020MY. For reference, here are the Escalade and Escalade ESV trim levels and their corresponding starting MSRPs, which include a destination charge of $1,295:

The substantial Cadillac Escalade discount offers in recent months is likely a strategic tactic to fend off rivals – including the well-received Lincoln Navigator – prior to the arrival of the future Cadillac Escalade, which is expected for the 2021 model year. See more on the 2021 Cadillac Escalade. The strategy has been working, as Escalade Q3 sales considerably outpaced those of the Navigator.
