Tesla may be a sexy word in the electric vehicle industry, but it’s a pretty big deal with the co-founder of Apple praises your product. That’s exactly what has happened with Steve Wozniak, who posted a photo of himself with a 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV on his Facebook page.
Wozniak posted the photo of himself with a white 2017 Bolt EV along with a caption reading, “I expect to be switching cars soon!” Currently, Wozniak gets around in a Tesla Model S, according to Electrek.
When pressed as to why he wants to ditch his Tesla, he returned with the following:
Knowing myself, it may replace the Tesla. A lot of complaints about the Tesla that my wife and I have are solved in this car. It’s not just some name where you have to take a side. The user conveniences are well thought out and the functionality is great. I tell everyone that the most valuable, useful car of my life was the Prius that I drove for 10 years. I don’t need top-of-the-line luxury. We have a Tesla but there is no other EV choice that’s good for road trips. The Bolt will need some personal testing by Janet and myself to find out how it is on road trips. Otherwise, it’s what we want. Extra features aren’t the big picture, or we’d have skipped the Tesla for a Mercedes.
The Woz and many others won’t be waiting much longer; the 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV will reach retail customers by the end of this year with 200 miles of charge at a minimum.
At a time of year when luxury car ATP usually rises.
Sales decreased 5.6 percent to 16,670 units during the first ten months of 2024.
Specifically critical minerals supply chain development.
Scheduled for a Spring 2025 launch.

Man Wozniak sure does switch which cars he praises quickly. First it was the ct6 saying it would be his next car saying it might be his next car then the model 3 saying he would never buy an internal combustion again and now it's the bolt.
Being a billionaire and all, he may have multiple cars. I don't think it would break him.
Article sounds like an infomercial. Like the Waz, I won' t buy another fossil fueled vehicle. I won't support terrorism, environmental pollution, global warming, dictators, money laundering, global corruption, rain forest destruction, and all the other activities associated with fossil fuels. I've expanded my solar system to support an electric vehicle. Now it's which one. I refuse to fund evil from the end on a fuel hose.
Isn't he a paid GM spokesperson who has appeared in Cadillac commercials?
