2016 Opel Karl And Opel Astra Secure Highest Residual Values Over Four Years

Although many of us live in the here and now, researchers spend countless hours looking into the future on a wide variety of subject matters. That includes autos, thankfully, so we don’t have to sit back and calculate whether a vehicle will be worth something in the long run.

The 2016 Opel Astra and 2016 Opel Karl have made a name for themselves with class-exclusive features, and excellent starting prices, but now both make for a truly sound investment.

Bohr & Fess Forecasts named the 2016 Karl the best vehicle in its class to hold its value over four years. The 2016 Karl is expected to be worth 54-percent of its original value in 2019. The 2016 Astra was right behind the Karl, with the firm saying the Astra will be worth 53.5-percent of its original value in 2019.

“Buying a new Opel is a good investment for every one of our customers. The prediction for KARL and Astra is further proof. Our dealers can also be delighted with such stable residual values, as it ensures that both parties can be happy when a leasing deal comes to an end for example,” said Jürgen Keller, Executive Director Sales, Marketing & Aftersales Germany.

The news follows the most recent award for the 2016 Opel Astra: the coveted Golden Steering Wheel award.
