The 2016 Opel Astra is already a handsome looking hatchback and we hope, like China, we will be graced with its face as a Buick Verano hatch with a sporty GS variant, too.
While we wait, we’ll have to contend with the photos Irmscher has supplied, previewing what it has planned for the 2016 Astra in its upcoming tuning program.
Irsmcher has stated it plans to new grille options with stainless steel or carbon fiber finishes. The stainless steel finish can be seen above. Body striping and a selection of wheels ranging from 16- to 19-inches will also be available, according to the tuning company. Finally, a sport suspension lowering kit will be available to lower the ride height a tad over one inch.
Performance goodies will be on hand, too, for those looking for more oomph from the 2016 Astra. The tuning company said it has not finalized final numbers, but it expects to increase output up to 30 hp.
