Hennessey has been responsible for some of the gnarliest Corvette builds we’ve seen, though competition is fierce among high-profile tuners to make the best performance package for the consumer with a need for speed.
If you needed some extra convincing that Hennessey Performance Engineering knows what it’s doing, here’s a brief video of the 2015 HPE800 C7 Corvette Z06 convertible strutting its stuff around the HPE test track.
Here, we’re treated to the thrilling and vibrant noises of the hopped-up LT4 6.2-liter supercharged V8 applied to the HPE800, as it scoots around the test track. There really isn’t much more to the video other than the car’s soundtrack, and shots of it going fast. Really fast.
But, the clips speak for themselves. HPE knows how to build one hell of a machine.
