As part of the National Corvette Museum‘s “Museum In Motion” program, the NCM has prepared quite a caravan for Corvette owners to take part in and enjoy some very cool events along the way. The caravan will ultimately end up in Indianapolis, Indiana for the 2015 Bloomington Gold event.
Bloomington Gold is a premier Corvette club with very interactive meets. Interactive as in, lap Indianapolis Motor Speedway in your Corvette. Yeah, that kind of interactive.
Registration has opened for the event where the caravan will leave the NCM and make their way to Mid-America Motorworks, where tours and seminars will be taking place. After that, the caravan makes one last jaunt to Indianapolis, Indiana, the host city of Bloomington Gold. From there, behind the scenes tours of Indy Speedway will take place, and as mentioned, laps around the track in your personal Corvette plus more.
It sounds like an absolute awesome way to spend some time with fellow Corvette owners, and be around some great camaraderie. The event is $1,000 to register your car, and yourself as a driver, and $300 for a passenger. That fee also includes hotels and a lot of food, too, so it should make for a very special road trip between driver and Corvette.
