Here it is: the 2015 Corvette Z06 blasting around the Nürburgring Nordschleife like a powerful, angry hornet.
The video comes to us courtesy of the folks at Bridge to Gantry, who deal exclusively in videos of cars and bikes zipping around the Green Hell.
This video is only a brief compilation of passes on the track, but it certainly whets our appetites to see and hear the new super-vette in the flesh. The 650 HP, supercharged 6.2 liter LT4 V8 sounds absolutely menacing and animal, and the soundtrack is spoiled only by just the faintest whiff of tire chirp.
The previous super-vette – the C6 ZR1 – accomplished a time of 7:19.6 around the Nordschleife. So far, no official time is available for this new Z06, but we can all safely expect it to undermine that by at least a few seconds.
The official release of the Z06 isn’t due until “early in 2015,” with an MSRP starting at around $79,000. Not too steep for Ferrari-like performance.

Breaking out the spec sheets for a comparison.
Plus, a nationwide lease on all-electric off-road Pickup and SUV.
