The National Corvette Museum had the honor of delivering the first 2019 C7 Corvette Z06 finished in “Shadow Gray,” a new-for-2019 factory color.
The owners, Jim and Judy Schubert of Stockton, Illinois, originally selected a Watkins Glen Gray Corvette, but the newly introduced color grew on the couple. Eventually, the two opted for Shadow Gray.
Aside from paint colors and other minimal changes, the 2019 Corvette soldiers on relatively unchanged for the model year. The car’s future remains in limbo as we prepare for the mid-engine Corvette to debut in the near future. The most popular theory involves producing both the C8 Corvette and C7 Corvette alongside one another for an unknown amount of time. The Bowling Green, Kentucky, assembly plant is also capable of building differentiated vehicles on a single line after retooling earlier this year.
In the meantime, we’re sure the Schuberts will enjoy their shiny-new Shadow Gray Corvette Z06.
Plus, a nationwide lease on all-electric off-road Pickup and SUV.
Extra comfort for rear-seated passengers.
Filings made in 24 countries, so far.
The sweepstakes closes on December 22nd and the drawing will take place on December 28th.
At a time of year when luxury car ATP usually rises.

BEAUTIFUL COLOR. IT ENHANCES THE BODY LINES. GREAT LOOKING CAR. GLAD TO SEE THE BLUE COLLAR CORVETTE WILL BE CONTINUED WITH C8.
Since when was the Corvette blue collar?
What? I can't hear you, you'll have to SHOUT LOUDER!
BLUE COLLAR MEANS AFFORDABLE TO THE COMMON PERSON. THIS TERM IS USED CONSISTENTLY WHEN REFERING TO MANY CORVETTE MODELS. I OWN TWO AND THEY BOTH WERE VERY AFFORDABLE.
If you think $55K is affordable to the common person, then you're wrong. The Corvette isn't blue collar if its MSRP is more than twice someone annual income at minimum wage.
And lay off the caps. You're not blind or visually impaired (you've tired that lie elsewhere). You're just trying too hard to look important.
I swear I cannot look at a C7 Stingray without my heart skipping a beat.
Great looking color has been added to the Corvette options.
