An Ontario, Canada, area Chevrolet dealer president was killed in a tragic auto racing accident last week. Jeffrey Green was pronounced dead at the hospital after losing control of his car at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park and hitting a wall.
According to The State Journal Register, Green was driving a 1972 Lola T300 race car when he lost control around a corner, exited the track and collided with a wall. Emergency crews pulled Green from the car and rushed him to the hospital where he died.
Green oversaw Green Chevrolet and Green Ford in the city of Peoria.
GM Canada provided a statement of sympathy following the crash.
“We are deeply saddened to learn of the tragic accident at this weekend’s Vintage Grand Prix at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park and the passing of Peoria Illinois Chevrolet dealer, Jeffrey Green.” said Travis Hester, president and managing director GM Canada. “On behalf of all who work for GM Canada, we offer our deepest condolences to his family, friends and the motorsports community.”

Don't believe Peoria Illinois is in Ontario as first sentence indicates.
Good eye Wayne. Poor journalism.
I am sure somebody in this world was pulling for the wall! Not me cuz I didn't know the guy but there's always one person that doesn't get along with everybody!
