We’re less than two weeks out from Santa’s maiden voyage as he sets off to deliver presents to every last name on the “Nice” list. Of course, we all know Santa employs his sleigh and nine reindeer for power, but how does the famed transportation method stack up to the 2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE?
Thanks to GM Parts Center, we have a nifty comparison chart that shows how the two stack up and it’s a tough call. On one hand, the Camaro is more powerful and actually more fuel efficient. 650 horsepower versus just nine reindeer gives an edge to the Camaro. Santa’s sleigh requires at least two cookies per household stop and carrots for the sleigh’s powertrain: reindeer.
And we know the Camaro ZL1 1LE is corner carver with its Multimatic DSSV dampers, but you know what Santa’s sleigh uses? Air. Doesn’t get better than that. The sleigh also boasts unlimited cargo capacity and runs on Christmas cheer.
Despite the pros and cons, we’d prefer to find the Camaro parked in our driveway on Christmas morning. Plus, reindeer don’t sound nearly as good as the bark from a small-block V8.

You got the HP wrong for the listed engine. It's 650 not 275.
