Autonomous Cadillac Spotted In Pittsburgh May Belong To New Start-Up Company

An autonomous Cadillac prototype has many wondering what’s going on in the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The black Cadillac—its model unlisted—was spotted with a Lidar system, cameras and all other necessary goodies to begin testing a driverless car.

However, it doesn’t seem to belong to Cadillac or General Motors. Gizmodo reports there was no branding present on the car, but a source may have disclosed a new start-up company’s plans with the Cadillac. In fact, two sources reportedly told Gizmodo the Cadillac belongs to a stealth start-up by the name of NextDroid.

Those who are tipped to be involved with the new company did not comment on the matter. Therefore, it’s anyone’s guess as to what this new company could have up its sleeve to differentiate itself and play ball with major automakers and tech giants.
