‘Autoline’ Talks Trump Presidency And What It Could Mean For The Industry: Video

Like any media outlet, the stories of the past week have revolved around what President-Elect Donald Trump will mean for (insert industry here). The automotive industry is no different and a president has enormous persuasion on charting the direction of what is built and where it’s built.

Autoline dedicated nearly the entire episode to discussing what a Trump presidency will mean for Detroit’s big three. Of course, this is merely discussion. No one really knows what exactly will happen under Trump’s incoming administration. We can only take educated guesses as to how Trump will approach things like fuel economy regulations, emission regulations and free trade agreements like NAFTA.

However, it’s still insightful, and if you’re an automotive enthusiast, it’s a must-watch from the perspective of the auto industry and not just political media.

  • Everyone is talking President-elect Trump. Around the world and his leftist enemies. Proof of the kind of power he has.

PM Abe from Japan is even making a special trip to the U.S. just to meet with President-elect Trump; he wont meet Obama. I am sure trade will be an issue they will discuss and Mr. Abe knows President-elect Trump is a strong leader and negotiator.

(nice to see China whining today about trade...they know they dont have the upperhand anymore)

    • you are an a**. I am not the 'I told you so' type. But your statement is full of s**t. Before winter is over you will be having an 'tRump hangover' wondering what was I thinking.
