Uber And Cadillac Pairing Up To Offer Free Rides During NAIAS 2015

If you happen to be in town for the media or charity event preview of the 2015 North American International Auto Show, you can count on Cadillac to pick you up in style. The company is once again teaming up with Uber to offer on-demand rides with a private driver throughout Detroit during the show.

By using the Uber smartphone app, anyone can summon a private driver in a new 2015 Cadillac CTS, XTS or SRX (no 2015 Escalade, apparently).

To request a ride:

1. Open the Uber smartphone app during the time periods listed below (App available on Google play and apple App stores)

2. Toggle to the right and select the “Cadillac” option

3. Select the pickup location and tap “Request”

“Both Cadillac and Uber are known for pushing the boundaries of their respective industries with advanced technology and high-quality service,” said Uwe Ellinghaus, Cadillac chief marketing officer. “Reprising our partnership again in 2015 gives show attendees a chance to experience our award-winning 2015 vehicles.”

Of course, Cadillac encourages those using the complimentary service to post to Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #UberCadillac to track users’ experience. The rides are limited to 15 minutes and will cover all destinations within Downtown, Corktown and Midtown, free of charge. What better way to show up to the Motor City’s largest automotive event than in “The Standard of the World?”
