While we do have a bit of a clue on what the 2016 Chevrolet Volt will look like, we haven’t seen its profile in motion all that much. Ever on the prowl for pre-production stuff, TFL Car drove around Colorado’s High Country to bag this 2016 Volt as it was being put through high-altitude testing in the wild.
Funny thing, though − the first sighting wasn’t in the wild, but in a parking lot of what looks to be a motel. The next-generation, 2016 Volt was nestled in a corner, surrounded by Cadillacs − both brand-new and disguised. Eventually they saw the car driving into the wild, but more sightings escaped the duo.
To that end, two prominent features stick out: the first being the eye-catching strands of LED daylamps on the fascia, and the other being that the rear hatch seems to be sculpted at a sleeker angle this time around. Of course, when we know more about the 2016 Volt, GM Authority will bring it to ya.
