"Feels like an early Christmas present, doesn’t it?"
I'm always interested to see the latest GM product, but I feel more anxiety than excitement. I am actually grimacing more than smiling. Bracing more than anticipating. Though these are all strong emotions, I doubt they were the ones GM should be garnering or expecting...
I couldn't agree more!
wooh i have my alarm set for this ;) 7:30AM
I hope GM resolved the oil usage issue with these trucks!
My 2009 Sierra uses over a quart of oil every 2000 miles.
GM says this is normal usage and won't fix it!
I feel like a participant in the story "The Emperor's New Clothes". With all the hoopla, and the convincing that thee is "new" under all that disguise...what have we seen? Nothing. When the Silverado drove out I took one look and I just busted out laughing! I couldn't help myself. I had absolutely NO reaction when the Sierra rolled out. Heck, I wasn't even impressed with either of their entries. It was all cartoonish and frankly, classless. I just can't believe that this is all GM could do. The entire thing looked hastily put together and certainly not well thought out. I can say with authority that NOBODY at Ford or Ram is worried. In fact..they're probably laughing too...all the way to the bank.
...then I lost the feed...
WILL this be on youtube or recorded somehow?! cause alott of people missed it do to high traffic on here :(
Jared -- we've updated this very article with the recorded video. Sorry for the inconvenience you experienced as we served heavy traffic :)

Got here half hour late and no feed, come on wheres the new truck ??????
Seen the pictures. Dash to the left of the steering wheel where the Trailer brake and AWD controls are located shows a total lack of design imagination. If anything its reminiscent of the 1980s dashes from GM where everything from Radio to HVAC controls were boxes
GM will rebroadcast it at 12:00 p.m. est
what do you expect from government employees, you are right the ram and blue oval will now gain even more market share
see them on youtube, actually i think they look great, nice dash, not a big change visually, but a better truck overall, dash, frame, brakes, cab, and a lot more you can't see.
