Sage Karam To Contest Indy 500 In No. 24 Dreyer Reinbold Chevy

Dreyer & Reinbold has unveiled the livery for the No. 24 Chevrolet that Sage Karam will attempt to qualify for this year’s Indy 500 with.

Karam’s No. 24 Chevy will sport a colorful blue, green, white and red livery with backing from the 500 Festival Foundation, AES 500 Festival Parade, retail electric service company AES Indiana and charity fundraising platform Omaze. Secondary backing for the entry will also come from Mecum Auctions and DRR’s longtime partner Wix Filters.

As part of the partnership, Omaze will support the 500 Festival Foundation through its fundraising platform with a special sweepstakes that will allow Indy 500 fans to enter for the chance to win a yet-to-be-announced prize package. The 500 Festival Foundation is a non-profit that uses the public interest surrounding the Indy 500 as a way to raise money for youth programs and initiatives for underserved communities in the Indianapolis area.

“The 500 Festival is near and dear to me, and the whole team, as we have always admired and supported the work that the non-profit organization does in our community as well as the traditions it upholds for the Indy 500 and the entire month of May,” said Dennis Reinbold, DRR team owner. “We are grateful to longtime sponsor WIX Filters for working with us to create a platform to highlight AES Indiana, the AES 500 Festival Parade and the 500 Festival Foundation on our No. 24 car, and not to mention draw attention to the awesome Omaze prize that will benefit the 500 Festival Foundation.”

This year’s Indy 500 Festival Parade will not be held due to the COVID-19 pandemic, however the organization hopes that it can continue to “enrich the lives of Indianans” this year through its special partnership with DRR.

The Indy 500 will go green on Sunday, May 30th at 12:20 p.m. EST, though on-track action at Indy will commence on Tuesday, May 18th with the first practice session.
