Hot on the heels of the 2018 Cadillac CTS-V and ATS-V Championship Editions comes the Morello Red Package, which debuted specifically for the 2018 Cadillac CTS V-Sport on Tuesday.
We’d love to show you photos of the exterior, but Cadillac didn’t include any in the official announcement. Instead, we’ll do our best to describe the exterior trimmings. Cadillac said a black chrome grille and gloss black window trim spruce up the sedan’s exterior and dial down the bright chrome work. We did grab a photo of the CTS V-Sport Morello package from Cadillac’s configurator to show the black accents.
Obscure photos of the interior were included with the announcement, which portrays the Morello Red-accented carbon-fiber trim, red color-contrast stitching and front and rear door armrests finished in red. Recaro seats with suede inserts are also standard with the package.
Those who opt for the new package can apply the Morello Red trimmings to the V-Sport and V-Sport Premium Luxury trims. Additionally, four exterior colors will be offered: Black Raven, Phantom Gray, Satin Steel and Crystal White. Black is no extra charge, while Gray and Satin Steel add $625 to the price. It’s $1,225 if a customer desires white.
Cadillac also did not provide pricing for the package, but heading over to Cadillac’s CTS configurator notes the Morello Package will cost an extra $4,000 atop the V-Sport’s $62,190 MSRP.

This is something the V-Sport could've used from day 1. If you want to appeal to the sports sedan set, it's wise to look the part...
Only problem is it's a bit late in the CTS life cycle. Maybe if they also added in the ATS-V engine mods and a sporty exhaust, then we'd have something worth shouting about.
That wouldn't even be that difficult...
Cadillac had this on the first year(2014) CTS and it did not sell well. It might be a smart move to just have it available in the V-Sport.
I would love to see Cadillac offer some brighter interior colors. We had a white 91 Seville with a dark Red Leather interior and it was stunning. We considered the Morolo interior when we ordered our 2014 CTS, but chose the light and dark cashmere which, in our opinion, was classier looking and more upscale. Having said that, I wish Cadillac would offer an interior in that same dark red that they offered in 1991. It would look outstanding with a Crystal White, silver or even a black exterior.
