General Motors Mexico reported 24,238 new vehicle deliveries for the month of May 2016.
Compared to the 19,581 units sold in May 2015, the results represent an increase of 4,657 units, or 23.78 percent.
In the first five months of the year, GM Mexico has delivered 105,417 units for a market share of 17.5 percent, according to Francisco Garza, Vice President of Sales, Service, and Aftersales of General Motors Mexico.

This is all good for GM and the American manufacturing because Mexico , just as other nations, imports most of its vehicles, so a larger U.S. export to Mexico is great news.
What were the sales of the Aveo?
There is literally no way of getting that info right now, as Mexico lacks an industry-wide automotive sales consortium and individual automakers don't report sales by make/model.
