This minute-long clip gives you a peek at the Opel Astra TCR’s capabilities as it dashes around the Nürburgring. Notably, the Astra TCR looks as good in motion as it does when it’s still.

In addition to the thrilling shots of the Astra TCR zipping about are two brief interviews with Jörg Schrott, Director of Motorsports, and Jasmin Preisig, the professional driver piloting the car. Schrott touches on some of the differences between this 300+ horsepower, performance-bred Astra and its mass-production counterpart, and Preisig says she is quite fond of the production race car, and looks forward to using it in competition.
