Randy Pobst Shows Us How To Use A Skidpad In A 2016 Cadillac CTS-V: Video

In this video, Pirelli World Challenge pro racing driver Randy Probst shows us what the purposes of a skidpad are, and just how much you can learn on one. The 2016 Cadillac CTS-V he’s piloting makes it that much more entertaining, with all it’s beautiful noises from the LT4 supercharged V8 and seductive looks.

It’s hard not to chuckle at the fun Probst appears to be having. He does a great job of lecturing while driving the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V, giving the viewers great bits of knowledge. Understeering, oversteering, counter-steering – it’s all covered. Let’s put it this way if the following confuses you, you’ll learn quite a bit from watching: “the pedals have more to do with where you’re going than the steering wheel.”

If you’re already an experienced racer chances are you’ll know most if not all of the information presented in this video, but it’s a fun watch nonetheless.
