The C4 Corvette doesn’t seem to enjoy the love that other Corvette generations enjoy. But there are some outliers. The C4 ZR-1 is one of them. And then there’s this 1996 Corvette Grand Sport. It’s 1 of 810 Grand Sport Coupes, and this seemingly brand new Corvette has less than 500 miles on the dash, 480 to be exact. Meaning the 330 HP rated 5.7L V8 engine has barely stretched its legs.
Unfortunately, this particular C4 Grand Sport lacks a title. Normally, we would find this quite discouraging for buyers, but CorvetteBlogger tells us they’ve found “what appears to be the same car” with the same mileage on the Grand Sport Registry Classifieds. While the eBay listing doesn’t offer much information, it does state that the car was never titled and comes with a Certificate of Origin. The seller also claims that it is completely original except for the battery, and was stored in a heated garage.
It seems that the Corvette in this listing should be legit, especially if it is the same car listed in the Registry Classifieds. What are your thoughts?

A Grand Sport that has done zero sporting.
Save the untitled cars that never move for museums; I'll never understand the desire to do this with a car, buy wall art instead.
