If you’re a parent hoping your son or daughter ends up sharing the same passion for automotive vehicles as you do, this is for you. This summer the National Corvette Museum, along with the Edlebrock Family Foundation, will be offering five day-long camps in July that mix cars with other exciting themes. The themes will be as follows; on July 9th and 30th: Minecraft; July 20th: Sinkhole Science; Superhero Science :July 27th; and Wild Weather on July 31st. Each camp day starts at 8 AM and concludes at 4 PM local time, with early drop-off and late pick up available.
The kids will get to go for a ride in a Corvette, along with a tour of the Bowling Green Assembly Plant to see how the Stingray’s are built. The campers will also get a chance to talk with a Corvette Plant engineer.
We don’t know about you, but this would have been a day in heaven for us as kids, and it’s really a great way to get the youth interested in the automotive world. At a relatively affordable cost of $45 per camp day, you can give your child an amazing experience without breaking the bank.
