Opel has gone official with a new variation of its Mokka CUV for the Russian market at the Moscow Motor Show this week, the 2015 Mokka Moscow Edition.
The Mokka Moscow isn’t a new variation of the Mokka, but is rather a concept design study for Russia. The Mokka Moscow features custom graphics inspired by the city map of Moscow, an Alcantara headliner and signature dark blue cladding on the nose, front fascia and wheel-arches. It is also presented in a “dominant orange” body color, Opel says, which helps give the compact best-seller a prominent off-road appeal.
Along with the special Mokka Moscow edition, Opel also presented the Adam Rocks at the Moscow Motor Show. The Adam Rocks is similar to the standard Adam, but features a slightly raised suspension setup and special black cladding on the bumpers and wheel arches, giving the car a more off-road oriented look.
Finally, the last of Opel’s big announcements in Moscow come in the way of news surrounding the desirable Opel Insignia OPC. The all-wheel drive sports sedan will now be available in Russia with the same 2.8-liter turbocharged V6 engine found under the hood of the car in European markets, which produces a robust 325 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque.
