Cadillac Revises Options On 2015 CTS-V Coupe For The Last Model Year Of The First-Gen Model: RPO Central

2015 will go down in the books as the last model year of the first-generation Cadillac CTS-V Coupe. And as GM and Cadillac enthusiasts wait with baited breath for a follow-up to the venerable midsize coupe with a model based on the third-gen CTS Sedan, the revered coupe is going out in style, making several equipment-level changes for its last model year.

For starters, the 2015 CTS-V Coupe deletes six exterior colors and three interior combinations, while also discontinuing the Yellow Brembo brake calipers, 19-inch premium multi-coat painted wheels, and front bucket seats. In their place are three new hues — Crystal White Tricoat, Phantom Gray Metallic, and Black Diamong Tricoat; notably, the latter two colors get carried over from the 2014 model year, and are available at an extra charge. But by far the most important change to the 2015 CTS-V Coupe is the Special Build Out Edition — which sings the swan song for the vehicle. It includes the following standard features:

  • Black chrome finish grille
  • Red Brembo calipers
  • Satin Graphite wheels, with optional polished wheels
  • Midnight Sapele Wood Trim Package
  • Recaro seats
  • Sport pedals
  • Heated/ventilated front seats
  • Sueded steering wheel and shifter
  • Ebony leather seating surfaces with sueded fabric inserts and red stitching
