Chevrolet is calling it the “4G of July” and the brand is celebrating its new, built-in 4G LTE with Wi-Fi capability with a slew of advertisements for this Fourth of July weekend. The ads will run in a host of media channels, including television, movie theaters, on flights, and internet radio, among others. One ad, “Friends,” will run on Facebook.
Chevrolet’s parent firm, General Motors, is one of the first automobile manufacturers in the United States to build 4G LTE and Wi-Fi into its vehicles. “Bringing 4G LTE Wi-Fi to customers through Chevrolet cars, trucks and crossovers allows an entirely new level of connectivity in transportation,” says U.S. vice president of Chevrolet Marketing, Paul Edwards.
The company isn’t solely relying on advertising to convey that message. To celebrate America’s birthday, the brand will be part of Philadelphia’s fireworks display and will have 4G LTE-equipped cars around to provide free Internet connectivity to those nearby. The 4G LTE with Wi-Fi allows revelers to connect to the Internet up to 50 feet outside of a vehicle equipped with the technology.

Which no one needs since they can hotspot from their unlimited data plan they currently have.
Right, because you've obviously done and seen all of the studies on the technology what consumers need and use... not to mention that inconvenience of having to turn the tethering on, etc.
PS: no such thing as unlimited data anymore. If it's unlimited in data volume, then it's limited in speed (throttled).
