This Is What It’s Like To Hot Lap The Belle Isle Circuit In A Cadillac CTS-V.R

Photographer Steven Pham got to do what few others experience outside of actual racecar drivers, in that he was able to join Cadillac Racing driver Andy Pilgrim for a few laps around Belle Isle’s tight road course in a CTS-V.R. And based on the video, it looks as fun as you might imagine.

We doubt the safe driving advocate, IT consulting company owner and Squidbillies enthusiast that is Andy Pilgrim is going full tilt with our beloved “Phammit,” but the speeds on the straights still remind us more of  a jet taking off than a casual hot lap. Observe for yourself in the video below.
