Cadillac’s new wreath-less emblem will makes its debut on the 2015 ATS Coupe when it arrives in showrooms this summer. Eventually, the rest of model range will also adopt the modernized badge, including the 2015 Cadillac CTS, which was spotted by CarScoops wearing its all-new front fascia in the open for all to see.
Along with the new emblem, the CTS receives an all-new grille with horizontal shutter-like slats, bringing it closer in line with the ATS Coupe. The new badge has also been integrated into the back and lays over the chrome strip which runs above the license plate surround, rather than cutting into it like before.
The facelift for the 2015 model year may put the design of the CTS closer in line to its high performance sibling due next year, the 2016 CTS-V. It is not clear when the facelifted CTS will arrive in showrooms, though we anticipate it won’t be long after the ATS Coupe.

So where's the Link showing the New Emblem on the CTS???
I sound like a broken record when I say this, but like every news outlet that cites an external source, they link that source very clearly at the bottom of the article. GMA refuses to do that, instead you guys put 3,5,10,20 links within an article, 99% of the time linking to yourself, so we readers have to open 10 tabs just to find the link we want.
What is the reasoning for doing that and/or not just putting the link at the bottom and clearly cite it?
Exactly, it's one of my beefs as well. I also like how the sites title page spells wreath with another e at the end. Back to topic, I like the redesign and the new emblem on it.

Yeah, you show everyone how to go from best emblem to worst in no time flat. When I was in high school we had this thing called boosting, it's when a bunch of people who Don't really like you boost you into doing something stupid. And after u do it they all laugh at how stupid you were for doing it. Take a die hard Cadillac owner and they will tell u that there is a lot to be desired of the new emblem. It would be fine for the steering wheel,seats and wheels, but not upfront or in the back.
That is called bullying today.
Cadillac has shown, and made it clear that they aren't against offending people. This started with the introduction of Art and Science. 60% of people can hate it, but they want the 40% that love it. The die hard Cadillac 'fans' hated the 2003 CTS, and Cien concept before it that showcased the new design direction. And look how well that turned out for Cadillac! The die hard Cadillac 'fans' you speak of won't be passing their eye exams soon enough. Those fans are just one generation of fans, the new fans are up to a 1/3 their age and are the important demographic for Cadillac.
If they, those die hards you speak of (i.e you?) had it their way Cadillac would be right where Lincoln is now, a limpless brand with total brand sales barely outpacing JUST the Buick Encore.
God, your opinion sucks. GM is not trying to foster BS nostalgia of the past. Cadillac is a much different division than it was a decade ago. If the V series is not enough to illustrate that then maybe the wholesale axing of the stupid deville nameplate ("dts") or the damn-near universal accolades the ATS and CTS receive for their handling characteristics can finish the job.
Cadillac is a performance brand now. Kick and scream all you want, performance and driving/handling prowess are what the company is all about, at least with its non-SUV cars.

Well Andrew I'll entertain this conversation because I believe that deep down everybody loves Cadillac. When I speak of die hard Cadillac owners I'm speaking of the people who are the first to buy and have for years. Please dont speak down on our older generation. The older generation continues to push and hold our economy firm with their investment in us. The reason they are soo important to our brand is because they Don't wait for reviews or ratings, they know what they want and they get it..first. Honestly, you know the first person you've seen when Cadillac comes out with a new body style it's almost always an older young lady u see in one first. That's a fact Jack. I've owned at least 20 Cadillacs and when my wife wanted a new xts that's what I had to get her even though I told her that the car wasn't quit finished yet. But, if it had the new emblem as it's shown on the ATS coupe I would have talked her out of it. I can put up with the cars narrow appearance, all of the other cars in it's class front a back windshield's look about 2 or three inches wider which makes the car appear smaller and less dominant. I believe the entire Cadillac lineup should be at least 2-3 inches wider and like the cts about an inch lower. This change alone would make Cadillac the top luxury brand. And stop the bs with the funky filler chips in front of side mirrors. And I'll tell you the secret to the outgoing emblems success, even though the old crest wasn't very wide the wreath actually draw the eye into the design, welcoming u in. This new emblem appears a bit oversized and wide which may give an intrusive feeling when u pull up, trust me u don't want that. It's got the "look at me" look. I prefer the just happened to be most noticed look.

I will if they make stupid and ill-informed decisions, or of those who think that because they are old that they are infallible. I had an old man late last year try to sell me a flimsy ceramic magnet that you stick on a cars' chassis that would "slow down, stop, and reverse rusting". An old person will talk as big a lie as a young person.
Youthfulness sells luxury cars, and the Sloan ladder doesn't work anymore. Nobody is going to wait until they're 60 to own a luxury car, even if it is a Cadillac. I'd have no aspirations for a CTS if I saw more grey hairs behind the wheel of one, and I'd take my money elsewhere; to a brand with a more favourable public image.

Bullshit. I've seen nobody over 50 in an ATS, and if Cadillac plays their cards right, I hope I never do. Your sweeping generalization without any evidence is no more a fact than the Sun is cold.
It's almost like you want Cadillac to fail; to be just as miserable and as unloved as Lincoln. The time for courting elderly buyers is gone and Cadillac left that segment on masse back in 2002. At best, the XTS is the last vestige of an old person's car, and even that thing is worlds away better than the Deville it replaced.

I own a Cadillac because of how it PERFORMS, not because of the NAME. I do not care what a car's brand is, I just care about the CAR. These old people simply do not understand that people want to feel engaged in the driving experience, not just lull along in the left lane going 30 MPH under the speed limit while complaining that "amos and andy" is no longer on TV.
You don't know what you're talking about other than how you personally perceive Cadillac, which is the old way of perceiving the brand, a way which no longer works (see my Lincoln reference above).
My first car I bought at 19 in 2008, was a 2006 3.6L CTS. If I didn't need a truck now for my boat I'd be buying a 2.0 ATS in the fall instead of a 2015 Canyon.
Every person I've seen in an ATS is a male under 40. Females are the SRX crowd and even then 40 is about the prime age. It's not until you see someone driving an XTS do they tend to be older. But the XTS doesn't necessarily follow the same direction as the rest of the Cadillac cars, save for the VSport. The XTS is softer and more like the Cadillac you are used to and clamour for. The days of the luxo-barge DeVille is dead.
Also, it is the older generation that F'd the economy and will continue to do so long after they have retired.

Wether we agree or disagree on somethings, we can all agree we love our caddys. I hope all of our input about our brand helps our designers and engineers to make better more finished cars for us and future generations.
