Cadillac has taken to sponsoring swanky California parties attended by celebrities and trendsetters, such as the Hollywood Reporter’s annual celebration of the Oscars. The event took place in Beverly Hill, California at on of Wolfgang Puck’s acclaimed Spago restaurants. DJ Kiss played the music for the evening. We’re not sure how many kisses were involved.
Numerous guests of the event including Lupita Nyong’o of 12 Years a Slave, Breaking Bad producer Vince Gilligan, and Leonardo DiCaprio of The Wolf of Wall Street were escorted to the event in a 2014 CTS sedan or Escalade, while 2014 Cadillac ELR was featured throughout the venue.
“Sponsoring this event gives Cadillac a chance to help celebrate achievement,” said Melody Lee, Global Cadillac director, Brand and Reputation Strategy. “Working with The Hollywood Reporter also continues to build on our larger involvement within the film industry.”

Many Hollywood stars are "greenies" and favor electric and hybrids. These stars should get a test ride in the ELR and even use one to arrive at the "red carpet" ceremony for the Academy Awards next Sunday. That will promote the ELR more than the ads.
