As summer winds down, many people are cramming in a few last-minute adventures, eager to make the most of the warm weather. Whether it’s a weekend of boating, off-roading in a UTV, or camping, it’s tempting to try to fit it all in at once. However, one Chevy Silverado HD driver took this idea to an extreme, demonstrating the truck’s remarkable towing capabilities in a new viral video.
The video, posted to social media and apparently captured by another motorist, shows a somewhat precarious sight. As the footage begins, we see a wide five-lane highway with some light traffic in the lanes ahead. In the middle lane, a boat on a trailer is visible. At first glance, nothing seems unusual. But as the video progresses, it becomes clear that this is no ordinary towing setup.
As the camera gets closer, we find the boat isn’t hitched to a truck as expected. Instead, it’s attached to another trailer carrying a UTV. Moving down the line, the UTV trailer is hitched to a camper. Finally, leading this extraordinary train is a Chevy Silverado HD High Country, presumably from the GMTK2HC generation. The sight of the Silverado pulling all three trailers in tandem is as impressive as it is nerve-wracking.
While the video shows the trailer train weaving slightly on the highway, the Silverado HD appears to handle the load with confidence. It’s a testament to the truck’s power and towing capacity, though we certainly don’t recommend replicating this setup. Even for a Silverado, this is pushing the limits of what’s safe on the road. Indeed, the Silverado HD is built to take on tough jobs, but this sort of thing could lead to one big tangled mess of outdoor enthusiast-themed metal.

This driver need to be stopped and arrested for everything they can throw at them. It's what happens when goobs have too much money, not enough brains along with too much time.
There's an accident with bad consequences just waiting to happen there.
I want to see him park it….
I want to see him back up
That would be a sight to see! Better have a couple acres.
Were all lights working? I doubt it. Should have been stopped, ticketed, and impounded. The highways are dangerous enough without idiots like this.
That set up is probably illegal in most states. There’s a max overall length for vehicles that is probably exceeded here.
The baot was attached to the side by side. Wow!! Scary
Is it just me? I don't give a darn about up/down thumbs votes, but I noticed exactly one down vote on every comment thus far. What moron would down vote these comments? Someone who doesn't care about safety on the roads? Or, and stay with me on this, could that one down voter be the guy who was driving this thing in the video???? HAHAHAHA
CAREFUL! That’s the kind of sh*t that’s earns you a “down” vote. (and it isn’t me). 🙂
gpart: LOL. I could care less if people "vote me down". That's not why I come on here and I say what I know to be true or what my convictions are. But I hear you.
Mike9: Would a "professional" driver who is "licensed" every hook the hitch of the boat onto the actual ATV? I would hope not.
There is the possibility the the driver is a professional driver and is licensed for triple trailers. The equipment looks good and safe.
This CANNOT be legal! Got those windows tinted, too! That’s the all-American “can-do” spirit! (even as stoopid as this looks and is). Damn straight, Jack!
Surely, this has to be in lawless Mexico or other banana republic...
