This past Sunday, (Saturday for the Yanks) Holden revealed the final local-produced Commodore in the 2016 VF Holden Commodore Series II. The reveal was broadcast live for fans across the world to see but, Holden has uploaded the event to their official YouTube channel for a replay of the happenings.
The majority of the event was actually spent on the future of Holden as the once automotive manufacturer transitions to an import-only business. Mark Bernhard, Holden’s new Chairman and Managing Director, took to the stage to address media, and the world, for the first time in his new position.
During his presentation, he announced Holden would retain 100 jobs in Australia inside of the Holden design department, joining Holden engineers to be spared from outsourcing.
And, of course, the 2016 VF Series II was unveiled to its burbling LS3-powered exhaust note as it rolled onto stage.
The sweepstakes closes on December 22nd and the drawing will take place on December 28th.

Don't watch. It's too cringe worthy. This what happens when you put a bean counter in control of... well... anything.
Is this car the same as the "refreshed" Chevy SS in the USA ??
