Somebody is going to soon open their garage door and have a green 1949 Buick Sedanette nestled just inside. The post-war Buick was for sale in Berkeley, Massachusetts, with the winning bid being a casual $5,655.
According to the current owner, the Buick has “some rust in the rocker panels, trunk and floors solid, passenger window cracked” and is equipped with all of the moldings except the left rear quarter. It also has skirts and “brand new visor” and it is noted that the interior could use an overhaul, but is decent enough to leave be if so desired.
The small block Chevy 350, Chevy Turbo 350 transmission, and 10-bolt rear are intact, and the car has rack and pinion steering but is missing power steering lines. The owner doesn’t have time for the Buick because of other projects and is selling it as he bought it.
He mentions that the car needs head gaskets, but is running otherwise.

A Rat Rod would be the worst thing you could do to pristine survivor from the 1940's. A light Resto-mod maybe with modern tires Brakes suspension and Engine, but Rat Rods are just junk by another name. IMHO
You missed the part about the 350, TH350 and 10 bolt. This is NOT a survivor, it's already heavily modified.
