Ordering is now open for the sexy little Opel ADAM city car before it hits European dealerships in January 2013. Prices for the ADAM start at €11,500 (including VAT) in Germany for the entry-level version featuring a 51 kW/70 hp 1.2L gasoline engine. In the United Kingdom, the Vauxhall ADAM will start at £11,255 for the JAM variant. The ADAM GLAM will command £12,650 and £13,150 for the ADAM SLAM. The Opel press release didn’t specify pricing for individual trim levels.
For us ‘Mericans, the price can also be read as $14,853 when converted from the Euro.
Other powertplant choices consist of a 1.4L 64 kW/87 hp motor and a 1.4L – 74kW/100 hp motor, mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.
Interesting interior options, such as a unique “starlight headliner” complete with more than 60 LED lights re-creates a starlit sky at night and can be ordered for €380. An IntelliLink (*looks at Buick, GMC*) infotainment system is another 300, while Advanced Park Assist and the combined side blind spot alert is 580.
If you’re into color choices, the ADAM will offer 12 of them. The hues feature names like “I’ll be Black”, “Papa don’t Peach”, “Purple Fiction”, “James Blonde”, ‘”Saturday White Fever”, “White my Fire”, “Men in Brown” and ‘”Buzz Lightgreen.” We’re not making this up.
What’s more, bespoke packages will be offered, and deliver unique combinations of colour and design to the roof, wheels, exterior mirror caps, logo bar and interior trim. They are described in the Vauxhall press release as “Two-Tone” black and white pack, a “Twisted pack” and the “Extreme pack”.

It would have been nice if the Euro prices could be like the following:
11,500 Euro ($14,853)
Would have saved me a minute at google :)
This will be a winner , but the best model to make available is the 5 door version. The hidden door openers on the rear windows make it look like a two door model and the car looks more balanced . Make the goofy vinyl? roof panels optional for the concept 5 door version in solid color looks superb .
There will not be 5-door version of Adam... only 3-door.
Blonde James blonde that sounds good. Do they have a Bourne Blue?
$14,853 minus value added tax price is low enough to important and compete with Fiat 500. Keep the Opel name and sell it at Buick dealers.
That should say import not important damn iPhone.
Looks better than Spark.
Hey Buick great way to bring the youth into your dealerships!!!!!
wouldn't look bad with the 3 shield logo....much better than a Fiat 500.
