The invention of Reddit probably sent the human race’s productivity into a downward spiral from which it has never recovered. Anyone familiar with the site knows how easily it can easily suck you in and have you reading random Wikipedia pages or watching absurd YouTube videos when you should be doing work or studying. It’s a procrastinator’s worst nightmare, but we’re not going to sit here and act like we’re not thankful it exists.
After all, when the website produces communities like /r/shitty_car_mods, it’s hard not be on board. This subreddit is for sharing photos of cars with low budget, poorly executed or just downright absurd modifications. We recently came across a highly upvoted post on the subreddit that probably doesn’t belong on there, because the modifications made to the car in question are undeniably amazing.
What you’re looking at is what appears to be a late 1980s or early 1990s Cadillac Brougham limousine that has been dropped overtop of some type of body-on-frame dual rear axle truck platform. We’re assuming this mad creation has a Cummins line-six diesel hiding under the hood, based off of the Cummins rear window sticker, so it’s possible that a Ram HD chassis is sitting underneath the limo body.
This build actually appears to be rather well done and with the rear tow bar and hitch, it looks as though it’s actually used for towing. We’re also loving the somewhat shoddy rear fender flares, which appear to have been DIYed out of some sheet metal and hastily painted green.
Heavy duty trucks are cool and all, but everyone has one of those. If you have to do some heavy hauling, you may as it well do it in style with a converted diesel Cadillac Brougham…we guess? Let us know what you think of this wild build in the comments below.
