Although it’s not a real Corvette Grand Sport, this 1963 replica certainly looks and sounds the part.
The 1963 Corvette Grand Sport replica was one of many vintage racers and other cars to take to the Imola racetrack in Italy for the 2018 Motor Legend Festival. The festival celebrates pre-1966 cars.
The video above shows the replica racer take to the track and blast around corners, rip down the straights and fill the surrounding area with mighty V8 noises.
The original Grand Sport racers featured a handful of different engines, but the most notable was a 377 cubic inch V8 engine. The small-block engine featured all-aluminum construction, four Weber side-draft carburetors and a cross-ram intake. Power sat at 550 horsepower.

Very cool museum. They also race and drive the cars too.
Good thing Reuss wasn't driving!
