On December 9, 2015, Knight Industries Media released a trailer for a reboot of the classic 1980s television show, Knight Rider.
It seems KITT, a 1982 Pontiac Trans Am, and company is back in the latest reboot, which also once again stars David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight. The question is, what is Knight Rider Heroes?
The official address accompanied with the announcement includes the word “movie” in it but, according to Autoblog, Christopher Rutkowski, who has involvement in the latest reboot, would not confirm if the trailer teased a new TV show, or a movie.
He also stated he hopes to direct the mystery project, and said work on the reboot was in very early stages.
Are you excited to see KITT back in action? Maybe Hasselhoff should have given our friends at Lingenfelter a ring for one of their nearly-bespoke fifth-generation Camaro turned Pontiac Trans Am creations.

God help us all. Some things need to fade away into the sunset. This is one of them...
Whatever this is, it will be cheesy, corny and cringingly eye-rolling-worthy.
And it will be pure awesomeness.
Yes, I am super-excited. What of it?

No way! KITT will always be a 1982 Trans Am. Every attempt to modernize the car, from a Pontiac Banshee (nee Dodge Stealth) to a *shudder* Ford Mustang has been a dismal failure.
And yes, all you damn kids need to get off my lawn!
