Meet The Man In Charge Of GM’s Small-Block V8 Development (Video)

There are men and women behind the curtain that spend years developing vehicles, engines and technology that eventually turn into products that are assembled in a factory in a matter of minutes. And we hardly ever know who they are. But in the case of Jordan Lee, General Motors’ legate for all things Gen V Small-Block V8, we get a face to match the name.

Thanks to the video below, Lee shares with us a bit about what went in to the fifth-generation Small-Block V8 engine that will debut in the 2014 Corvette C7, along with the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. Needless to say, its success is very important.

  • Whoever invented AFM did not take in to account the cost of repairs to the consumer, I purchased a used 2015 Silverado 5.3 with 38000 miles and at 40,000 miles am paying $4400.00 to replace the AFM Lifters because 1 collapsed, I currently own 1 Ford, 1 Toyota and the last GM product that I will ever buy or hopefully any of my friends or relatives will ever buy after I tell them my story.
