I’m hoping my allocation on 2500 LT Diesel is coming through today and I need to be prepared to make any final adjustments to the build, I currently have both the Z71 off-road package and the Snow plow prep/Camper package selected. I don’t really see plowing in my future but doing it rather for resale value as this seems to be a desirable feature… especially in Colorado. That said, something I noticed in the online configuration is that the MSRP of the vehicle “increases” by $150 by “removing” the snow plow package, and the listed cost of the Z71 package also increases by the same $150. It doesn’t seem intuitive to me that the MSRP would increase by removing the package. Is there something I’m not aware of that I’m loosing from the Z71 package or somewhere else in the truck by adding the Snow plow prep? The Dealer can’t seem to answer my question. The $150 is irrelevant to my decision as this is more about understanding the ying and yang between these two packages other than the obvious skid plates. Hats off to anybody that can provide some practical knowledge to my question. Thanks
