Why can't my dealer give me an order number ?

      I put in anorder for a Tahoe RST back in February 28th of 2021 – w Sunroof, sliding console and luxury package . Why can’t they give me an order number.? Whenwillthey start getting chips to complete the 2021’s? Is my order so late now it will be a 2022?

      It seems they can’t provide that order anymore. Chips backlog is a problem nowadays but waiting that long sounds hopeless to me.

      I work at a dealer if you haven’t figured this out already it will be a 2022 the luxury package was not being built all year last year. The first rounds of 2022 are accepting them but will most likely be put on hold once built due to semi conductor shortage

      You put in February and you have not gotten the order number yet that means the dealer hasn’t added it into the workbench you get a order number as soon as the build is added in workbench sounds like to me your dealer is screwing you around!!
