ParticipantI am looking at ordering a 2LT Equinox and I am wondering when I can and get Mylink with Pandora application installed? Also I saw on another post here that there is a portal for Mylink, what is that link?

Keymaster@trakonus Welcome to GM Authority!
The Pandora integration seems to be coming in a future update, which we believe will be installable by you via a USB key. We’ve sent in a question to GM for clarification but will most likely not hear back until Monday.
If you can, hang tight until the beginning of next week and we’ll know for sure.
PS: the MyLink article you’re referring to is actually OnStar MyLink — which has since then been renamed to OnStar RemoteLink. It’s a completely different feature, which you will also get on the Equinox. In short, RemoteLink is an app for iPhones and Android devices that allow you to control your vehicle remotely, such as start it, sound the horn and turn on the lights, and lock/unlock, among other things. The portal hasn’t yet been built, so RemoteLink — right now — is only accessible via mobile apps via iPhone and Android.
Cheers!
Alex

Participantany update on this? I have the same questions. MyLink does not seem to be actually on any 2012 equniox vehicles yet, contrary to Chevrolet press releases and current website pages. Can the current installed radios be updated to have MyLink functionality via the mylink portal that is now live?

Keymaster@rajamahal @trakonus Guys — here’s the latest from GM about the status of MyLink in the Equinoxes:

Looks like bad news 🙁
PS: @rajamahal I thought @trakonus was referring to an article about OnStar RemoteLink, which was previously called MyLink, getting its own web-based portal. All good now 🙂
