ParticipantIn the February 2013 Forum Review on CUE by M. Katakis, he mentioned that updates were coming. Does anyone have any current information on this?

ParticipantIt is already available. We had ours updated several months ago with our first oil change. It took two days – a loaner was provided.

Inactive2013 XTS
I had mine updated months ago. It still has problems … no video, pandora stopped working, voice recognition poor and in general its very slow. I was told that after the first update, that had to be done at the dealer, the “coming updates” would be pushed to the vehicle.. Well, i haven’t notice any updates since. I have worked around some problems by connecting the phone and using it to stream audio and send a receive messages. However, the promised updates have never come. Other autos, have much better internet connections either through a phone or direct. I was so excited when i first saw the XTS at the Chicago Auto Show in 2012. I wouldn’t have bought one if i knew how Cadillac would forsake it’s customers. I love the way it rides even if it doesn’t get more than 18 mile/gal. -

ParticipantCUE improvement is really needed. What make Cadillac so difficult to double RAM in order to make the user interface faster and smoother just like the smartphones race where they improve their hardware every year?????

ParticipantDoes anyone have a TSB number for the CUE update?
I am going crazy trying to use the heater and defroster when it’s not very cold, just misty.
I asked my dealer about it and he said nothing for my car!
I have 2013 ATS purchased Feb 2013.
I live in Vancouver Canada

ParticipantI took my 2013 ATS in for service in late April 2014. The dealer then updated my CUE system as well. That said, it’s no faster than before. Very laggy when touching the screen and responding to commands. And forget the natural voice recognition. Even when the car is perfectly silent, frequently will not understand my (standard western American English) commands. I actually have given up using it for navigation, which is so slow and frustrating – asking Siri or Google Maps is so much faster and more accurate. I wish Cadillac would just issue a software update that lets Apple users switch over to Siri.
