I have an old 94 s10 truck. I already changed the front bearings and now the rear ones are starting to make noise. I opened the differential and checked the inner bearing and they are all good so I know the outer ones in the axle are the problem. The guy at the auto parts store said the ones in the differential are the important ones and the outer ones will just make noise and not cause any damage. Is this true?
