I have a few issues with a new (10k mi now) yukon denali, I called GMC customer service to find out if I could take the vehicle to any gm dealership, like the chevy dealer next to the gmc dealer, because the gmc dealership folks are rude, condescending and know less about the vehicle than my wife, which is upsetting. The phone call was transferred to the philippines, and it was ok, they said a local rep would return the call in 24hrs.
Its been 8 days, still no call back, I’ve called daily since then, all calls to the Philippines, and they have no way of contacting anyone else. I think its a game they play, eventually (after a week) they gave me the extension of the lady, jodi, who is supposed to be calling me back, get VM every time and no calls back.
I assume I can take the vehicle to another gm dealer, but I thought gm would have at least some customer service to help when the dealer is denying simple issues with responses like, “I checked and half the cars on the lot have that issue”…..What about the other half that do not? Just because its a widespread problem doesn’t mean its not still a problem..
When people fork out 80k for a vehicle, and there are issues, they should be addressed. Has anyone else experienced this, have you ever got a hold of anyone that is even in the US?
I went through a similar thing with Ford about 8 years ago, called Ford, talked to someone same day and they setup an appt with another dealer and they fixed the issue the other dealer couldn’t find, just saying…
