Do any of you know about how long after your order is accepted with GM, it gets assigned a VIN?

According to my GM Chevy Bolt trade-repurchase rep, not until it’s either in or completed production.

Depends on the vehicle. In my case it was accepted the week of 6/28/22 and I had a vin, (truck was produced) the week of 7/28/22. My vehicle was a 2023 Chevrolet Duramax LT CC 4wd.
