I recently ordered a GMC pickup and would like to follow it’s progress through the build cycle. Is there a way that I can do that? Hopefully GM has an internet site that will provide that information.
Thanks
@Tumbleweed Welcome and congrats on the new new truck!
Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to track a vehicle through its build. There was a site (GMConnects but it no longer works. We her at GM Authority are exploring ways to bring this functionality to our readers, but don’t have anything to share on it yet.
So, currently the best way to see status is to go to gmc.com and initiate a live chat, and ask the representative on the status. It’s not ideal, but it’s the best way for now.
Go to this Camaro forum, create an account and post you order number and delivered to state. There is a Chevy saleslady who will look up the order status for you.

Check it out, you will see she is glad to do it no matter what vehicle it is. She tracked my Denali..
The Sales Manager or Inventory Manager where you ordered it has access to the info. I look up orders every day for salespeople and clients.
