ParticipantWill GM be producing a Stage Turbo Kit for the 2015 Regal GS Turbo like it has for the 2011 – 2013 Regal turbos?

KeymasterUpdate: I’m sorry, I mis-read your question — you’re looking for a stage kit for the 2015 model year Regal, not the 2013. It will be interesting to see if such a kit is offered, since the 2.0T LTG engine in the 2015-2017 Regal is shared with the ATS, CTS and CT6 as well as the new 2016+ Camaro; it’s an entirely different engine from the one 2.0T in the 2011-2014 Regal Turbo. At this point, there’s nothing… but I’m hopeful.
I believe you’re looking for GM part #12653664.
It’s a Buick Performance Turbocharger Upgrade Kit that has the following impact on power ratings:
2012-2013 Buick Regal GS
Horsepower: 272 hp stock > 295 hp with tune
Torque: 295 lb-ft stock to 335 lb-ft with tune2012-2013 Buick Regal Turbo
Horsepower: 200 hp stock > 270 hp with tuneLike all stage kits, this one requires an ECU tune.

ParticipantThanks, Alex.
I am looking for Turbo Upgrade Kit for a 2015 Regal GS.
From you info, it looks like I’ll have to wait since nothing is available right now.
I’ll try to be patient.
Thanks for your info -

KeymasterHey @jlettiere – we are going to ask someone at Buick about this on our drive of the 2017 LaCrosse. If we get an answer, I will post it for you here.

ParticipantThanks Alex… appreciate you asking. I’d sent a note to Buick about this a while back, as I’m extremely interested in this for my 2014 GS.

KeymasterFolks, just heard back from GM Authority’s own Sean Szymkowski, who spoke to folks at Buick about this just a week ago. His reply:
“No one gave me a clear answer on stage kits. It wasn’t a “no”, but rather a “we have no idea” kind of thing. It sounds like a no for now, though.”
So, it doesn’t sound like they are working on these, otherwise they would have probably already been out. But I would wait until this year’s SEMA show to see if anything new surfaces.
