I want to know if Chevys gonna make another mid sized van to compete with the ford transit connect. Or resurrect the astro van. :)>-
I dont think theres any official confirmation of GM developing a transit competitor, but one is probably in the works.
A cargo version of the Orlando can’t be that hard to do.
It’s probably easier to make a cargo Orlando than have the Orlando available in the US in the first place.
GM has a Transit type cargo van …. all they need to do is make it ready for North America and sell it.
I agree with the Orlando or something like the Astro, but it seems to me that GM’s idea of an ideal small cargo vehicle is the Captiva.
GM has Opel Combo that is just like transit connect, but for some reason it’s not available in US.
Thats what I’m saying ….. GM has a Transit type cargo van …. all they need to do is make it ready for North America and sell it.
I agree with grawdaddy about the cargo Orlando and call it either the Orlando or Astro. 🙂
The Opel combo could be rebadged as a Chevy. One of those three
Yeah, the Orlando should be offered in a panel and work van configurations. Would be a great way to compete with the Transit Connect and the C-MAX… Good thinking!
Here’s the new Combo developed with Fiat… looks like it just came from performing in the circus:

Ironically, here’s our original plea to bring the last-gen Combo Stateside:
