Hello all.
Last week I got a major software update message in my 2022 Silverado RST Duramax when I pulled into the driveway.
Hit the go button and went inside.
Next morning it confirms the update and all is good.
Then yesterday I drive a few blocks away from our home to our daughters house, left the truck running while I was going to drop something off. As I’m walking up to her door I hear the motor racing and what sounds like a loud fan going full tilt.
Look at the drivers cluster and it’s showing a major warning to get the ? System serviced.
I hopped into the truck and pushed the power button and thankfully it shut off.
Started it back up to go home and all seemed normal. Until today, when trying tonRemote Start the truck, it wouldn’t work, had to get inside and hit the start button.
Then while driving I noticed the check engine icon was lit, but no other message in the dic.
Went shopping, coming out tried the remote start and it worked.
And driving away the check engine light went OUT.
All looking normal.
So wtf happened I have no idea. I failed up last weekend at a 76 station I’ve never used before. Today I was 1/2 a tank down so filled up at my normal Costco gas station.
So , SW f up? Bad Diesel from the 76 station? Don’t know.
Right now no ce light, remote start works, everything normal……
