I purchase my Silverado in Mid-January. I just performed my first oil change and noticed that there is a small engine oil leak coming from between the Engine and transmission. I did a few quick Google searches, and it seems like this is a common problem with this vehicle.
Does anyone know what is causing the problem and what the Fix is? I plan to take it to my dealer Monday, but I am concerned that they might have to pull the engine or worse. Then my truck will never be the same.
If anyone can provide more info. I appreciate it.
Rear main seal. Mist drop the trans to repair it.
