Hello,
I recently bought a Sierra 1500, and I’m hoping to find some help on this forum because I’m stumped on an oil pressure sensor issue. So thank you in advance for all the help and advice.
Here it is:
2013 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE 73,000mi
Check engine light is on and reads P0521 (oil pressure sensor).
I replaced the sensor and filter. Engine light still returns.
Oil pressure gauge shows 20-25PSI when driving and idling. Pressure goes up as RPMs increase. No knocking or clattering sound.
No oil light.
Any idea what might be causing the light to come on? Is this anything I should worry about or have checked out?
